MODERN AMERICA

MODERN AMERICA

ONIS reintroduces the ‘Modern America’ range with pride. This range is a revival of the company's historical ‘Modern America’ range, inspired by America’s first fine handcrafted glass.

ONIS’s historical ‘Modern America’ range wore the signature of the American designer, Edwin W. Fuerst. This range was first created in an era of transformation, coinciding with the last years of the Art Deco period, the first World’s Fair, the II World War and the end of fine completely handcrafted glass by ONIS, (due to the conversion to the war effort).

Modern America Stemware

The stemware comes in five different shapes: the Coupe, Wine/Cocktail, Nick&Nora, Gin&Tonic and Martini. The tall & bold stem along with the sturdy foot portray the Art Deco Buildings (Empire State Building and Chrysler Building) which have become unmissable landmarks in New York City. The sleek and curvaceous silhouette of the bowl make these glasses the perfect choice when serving and sipping exquisite liquors, wines and cocktails.

Modern America Tumblers

The tumblers robust and detailed base upholds the curved bottom and  thick walls of the glass, ending in a slightly open rim. These tumblers are ideal for all types of drinks (except hot drinks). These glasses have Xtratuff treatment which results in remarkably durable glassware with prolonged service life.
